About Us

Greetings and welcome to the Last Chance Handgunners website!  Conveniently located south of Boulder, MT and midway between Butte and Helena.   We have much to offer to both casual plinkers and competitive shooters alike.

Our facility features nine shooting areas combining both natural and man made terrain.  With options including short bays ideal for handgun practice to 400+ yards on our long range rifle area, there is something to compliment every shooting activity.  Our backstops at 25, 50, 100, 200, and 300 yards offer the ideal place to sight in your hunting rifles as well.  If the action of competitive shooting is more your style we regularly host Defensive Pistol, Steel Challenge, USPSA, Cowboy Action, and 3Gun events.  We are also the home to several major events each year that draw in competitors from around the country.  From the blazing speed of the Semper Fi and Montana State Steel Challenge to the endurance challenge of the Montana Multigun Championship the excitement is never far away.  We’re also the proud home of the Montana Territorial Shoot, a two day Cowboy Action event that has hit the 20 year milestone in 2015.  Check out our events section and come join the fun!

in potholes the size of a Buick you’re headed in the right direction! Watch
for the turnoff to the left before the bridge between two rock walls and
